Ever notice that when your daughter gets to be about 19 she starts to fight constantly with your wife. I think it is hard for them to develop an adult relationship because of dun changed syndrome. Dunchanged is ' i dunchanged your diaper dont think you can tell me anything. Still wondering what it takes to get people to read this more often. PLEASE comment makes this a bunch more fun. Feel free to check out my shameless profit center too.

Who said they were allowed to grow up. Nephew Clinton on the left son Shane in the middle. They just refuse to stop growing. This was almost 2 years ago, he was about 6'4 then and was 280 lbs, now he is 6'6 and 320lbs. Then my daughter is about half his size, go figure.

1 Lb. Snapper - YellowtailPeople tend to be intimidated by baked fish. Actually any kind of fish that isn't fried. Snapper, cod and other light fish can easaly be baked with tons of flavor. Just marinate it in your favorite italian dressing or a simple vinagrette of basalmic vinagar, oregano, parsley, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil. After letting it sit for an hour  bake at 350f for about a half hour or so (until the flesh is firm but flaky) be carefull fish goes from undercooked to over cooked. Would then go great with red potatoes and asperagus. Matches well with Shiraz or Chardoney 2005 Vintage Ad W.J. Deutsch & Sons, Inc. Yellow Tail WinePersonally I like yellow tail wines. They make a really good merlot and they are all very reasonable in price.

Just WTF are they thinking

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of AmericaJust what is congress thinking. They know that over 68% of the population is against the health care plan and that the American people just dont want socialized medicine. Unless it gets repealed this is going to distroy our health care system as we know it. If you think it's going to be free you are just fooling yourself. The money has to come from somewere. Just ask the people in the UK or Canada, or any other country with universal coverage. They are being taxed into submission. Lets not forget the insurance companies, if you make them cover everyone they must increase premiums or go out of business. Now an increase in premiums will then give congress the perfect oportunity to put in price controls and that will then put insurance companies out of the health care business. Basically what the government has done is totally disreguard what the people of this country want and usurp the authority of the American system of government and they are atempting to transform it into a European parlementary system instead of the representative republic that we currently have. The founder of this country faught about this very same process and it was called taxation without representation. Just read the federalist papers. The Federalist Papers (Enriched Classics)
You will find several of these very problems discussed by some of the smartest people in history. Dont think that I am against reform, believe me I know that the system is broken but this is not the way to fix it. I guess my number one question is "if this plan is so wonderful then why did congress and the president exempt themselves from it"? I dont know about other states, but here in Pennsylvania if you are too poor that is why we have medicade, bluechip, disabled workers insurance, and COBRA. I've had 8 different jobs at least and not once has my wife been turned down for a prior existing condition (she's had Myasthina Gravis since she was 12) this is because she has been in continous treatment for it. Nor has my son been turned down for coverage because of his AD/HD. Please I pray that you all remember this whenever you accept somthing from the government you are giving up some controll of your life and some of your personal liberty. I dont know about you but as for me I dont want to spit in the face of the millions of men and women who have died to preserve our right to have this conversation to give it all away to the government. Agree or disagree with me. Just please be well informed and not take all of your information from the news or what others might say read different sources go to bloggs like this talk to people you disagree with just please dont let the government impoverish our grand-children without at least studying the situation.

Spartacus and Jesus Christ what do they have in common.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand [Blu-ray]
Crucifixion in the Ancient World and the Folly of the Message of the Cross (Facets)
Finaly a story told the right way. I dont usually like remakes but this one really got my attention. The story flows and it holds true to the legend. Believe it or not there really was a slave by the name Spartacus who was a gladiator and lead a massive slave revolt that almost toppled the Roman empire. This is why he, his family, and his captains were crucified at the end; they had to make an example of him to prevent anyone else getting the idea of rebellion or trying to overthrow the empire. Romans were some of the most brutal people that ever lived on this earth. They subjagated 80% of the Meditoranian world and they did so by way of guile, war, terrorism, and money.
Some people think that Crucifixion was reserved for people like Jesus of Nazareth; when actually it was a brutal punishment reserved for political prisoners who Rome needed to make an example of. This is why the mere fact that this individual and Christ were both crucified shows that the problems caused by Jesus were significant enough to be mentioned by Josephus and the chronical of palestine. The primary crime that Jesus committed was, in the eyes of the Roman world, equivalent to the crimes committed by Spartacus. Jesus was encurageing his followers to overthrow the powers that be and to try to start a new order. What I find facinating is the fact that both of their stories have outlived the Roman Empire and Jesus eventually, through his followers, changed the Roman empire and arguably the history of man kind by triggering the creation of two of the worlds great religions.

wild turkey in the back yard :o)

You know you live in the country when you can look out your back window and see wild turkeys just hanging out and chowing down on bird seed. I live like 3 minutes from downtown and you wouldn't know it by looking at these urban birds. Just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you hear about dissapearing habitat. Some animals love it when people are around. 10 years ago when we moved here there weren't any turkies at all.

Greetings from Mudville Pa

We call it Mudville because of the almost constant flow of water from the sky. We average more rain and snow than Seattle Washington does. In fact there is an old joke, the settlers decided to stop and camp until the rain stopped, only problem is that when the rain stopped it started to snow and don't ya know when it stopped snowing it started to rain again. So here we are stuck in the slime waiting for one of our few but extreamly georgous sunny days.
