is anyone out there.
hummm lots of blogs lots of people out there to read but no indication that anyone is reading my posts. I guess these things are excercises in vanity and that is why so many of the stop and start and eventually fail.
Whenever your daughter says ' Yes i have everything packed, all we have to do is put everything into the Van' please be smart enough (unlike me) to realize that is a lie and that the entire place will need to be scrubbed, disinfected, sanitized and destunked, and that's just the bathroom.
take care and thanks for all the fish.

what did you do this week end?
Here in fly over country we still go to church during Easter. I've noticed that a lot of places are loosing connection with the reason for easter. Maybe it's because the world operates 24/7 these days and there isn't any room for a Sabboth or a day of rest. I remember my grand mother not cooking on sunday and that it was only for praying and being quiet. It's not llike they would stone you or anything but back then we had respect for Gods day and we realized that he only asks for 1 day out of 7 and only 10cents on the dollar. not a bad deal considering the return.
Take care and welcome please comment.

What a day
Wow, after reserching what mower to buy and find out the priceing of lawn firtalizer, lime, spreaders, and a bunch of other stuff then running off to the local Home depot. it was time to get to work. Wow my blisters have blisters but what a work out. You dont realize that you are useing so many different muscle groups when you do yard work. Raking, fore arms and tricepts. Digging chest bicepts and tricepts, even laying brick as a border is a streous excercise.
This morning I continued to read about Statists. You realize that you are slowly haveing your liberty and freedoms taken away. What can we do about it. GET INVOLVED !!!! i cant say it often enough. make sure you do something anything to develop relationships and work towards real change for the better. I mean how can a bill with 2000 pages be good for the country. Remember that every time you get something from the government you give up freedome and you give up control.
Sombody any body read this and comment so i know if anyone hears Meadville Calling cause we would love to have someone answere and maybe even start following.

Wow i'm glad i've been reading the bloggosphere today. this is a great commentary on Obama care. Please remember to vote. Not just in November but also during your primary. In fact i believe that the primaries are the most important because if you pick a looser to run in November guess what you will loose.

Score one for the good guys. The Navy is showing what they can do when allowed to do the job right. In fact this is what the navy was created to do in the first place. Protect shipping and keep sea lanes open from pirates. In fact our navy's first major victory was against the Barbary pirates, you know the shores of tripoli from the marine hymn.
Keep it going guys 99% of Americans Love you, the other 1% are assholes.

time flies by
wow i forget to post something one day and it turns into 5 or more. this makes it hard to be consistant. I guess it's like anything else you have to get into the habit and the stick with it. RL has started to drive me nuts again. I've taken my black belt test (and passed) but work sends a curveball or two and life sucks all in the same day. then you remember that god never promised us roses and easy life. He just promised us paradise if we try to do things his way and accept his gift of grace. BTW been reading the conservative manifesto, wow if you ever wanted to figure out a way to explain what you believe in as a conservative to a liberal (statist) friend this is the place to find it.

daughters and wife
Ever notice that when your daughter gets to be about 19 she starts to fight constantly with your wife. I think it is hard for them to develop an adult relationship because of dun changed syndrome. Dunchanged is ' i dunchanged your diaper dont think you can tell me anything. Still wondering what it takes to get people to read this more often. PLEASE comment makes this a bunch more fun. Feel free to check out my shameless profit center too.

life liberty and the pursuit of nummy food.
If you want some great tips on cooking from scratch, easy to make dishes and discover everything you needed to know about cooking but were afraid to ask.
Just WTF are they thinking
You will find several of these very problems discussed by some of the smartest people in history. Dont think that I am against reform, believe me I know that the system is broken but this is not the way to fix it. I guess my number one question is "if this plan is so wonderful then why did congress and the president exempt themselves from it"? I dont know about other states, but here in Pennsylvania if you are too poor that is why we have medicade, bluechip, disabled workers insurance, and COBRA. I've had 8 different jobs at least and not once has my wife been turned down for a prior existing condition (she's had Myasthina Gravis since she was 12) this is because she has been in continous treatment for it. Nor has my son been turned down for coverage because of his AD/HD. Please I pray that you all remember this whenever you accept somthing from the government you are giving up some controll of your life and some of your personal liberty. I dont know about you but as for me I dont want to spit in the face of the millions of men and women who have died to preserve our right to have this conversation to give it all away to the government. Agree or disagree with me. Just please be well informed and not take all of your information from the news or what others might say read different sources go to bloggs like this talk to people you disagree with just please dont let the government impoverish our grand-children without at least studying the situation.

Spartacus and Jesus Christ what do they have in common.
Finaly a story told the right way. I dont usually like remakes but this one really got my attention. The story flows and it holds true to the legend. Believe it or not there really was a slave by the name Spartacus who was a gladiator and lead a massive slave revolt that almost toppled the Roman empire. This is why he, his family, and his captains were crucified at the end; they had to make an example of him to prevent anyone else getting the idea of rebellion or trying to overthrow the empire.
Some people think that Crucifixion was reserved for people like Jesus of Nazareth; when actually it was a brutal punishment reserved for political prisoners who Rome needed to make an example of. This is why the mere fact that this individual and Christ were both crucified shows that the problems caused by Jesus were significant enough to be mentioned by Josephus and the chronical of palestine. The primary crime that Jesus committed was, in the eyes of the Roman world, equivalent to the crimes committed by Spartacus. Jesus was encurageing his followers to overthrow the powers that be and to try to start a new order. What I find facinating is the fact that both of their stories have outlived the Roman Empire and Jesus eventually, through his followers, changed the Roman empire and arguably the history of man kind by triggering the creation of two of the worlds great religions.
Man i wish this gizmo came with a spell checker. Honest i'm not an illiterate moron, I just spell at the 8th grade level. We wont even talk about my complete lack of math skills.

Oh and did i mention that because i have computers as a hobby i got nominated to be the 'IT' guy. well i guess the old saying is true be carefull what you wish for you just might get it.

Greetings from Mudville Pa
We call it Mudville because of the almost constant flow of water from the sky. We average more rain and snow than Seattle Washington does. In fact there is an old joke, the settlers decided to stop and camp until the rain stopped, only problem is that when the rain stopped it started to snow and don't ya know when it stopped snowing it started to rain again. So here we are stuck in the slime waiting for one of our few but extreamly georgous sunny days.
